Modern users require long life and vandal resistance from their enclosures. Allied has developed design methods which allow production of stainless steel enclosures which compete directly with mild steel enclosures from other manufacturers and which are generally cheaper than equivalent GRP enclosures. Stainless steel is corrosion resistant and, being very tough, is also vandal resistant. We have developed our own enclosure fittings which are also corrosion and vandal resistant. Design - Our technical department will assist you to design a cost effective solution to your enclosure requirements including special mounting plates for your equipment to speed assembly. Vandal and corrosion resistant features can be incorporated as can water and dust resistance to an IP rating. Short Deliveries - Using our modern production facilities, we can supply samples of purpose made enclosures very quickly. Production quantities can then be supplied with very short lead times. Our large range of standard enclosures are usually available from stock. Price - Our design methods enable us to supply stainless steel purpose built enclosures for less the GRP and usually cheaper than our competitors' mild steel enclosures. These can include purpose built equipment mounting plates with pre-punched holes and threaded bushes to reduce assembly times. Vandal Resistant - Many of our enclosures are installed in urban streets. Vandal resistant features are necessary for these locations and in cases where competitors' enclosures have failed they have been replaced with our enclosures which are still in use.
